Welcome to my little sliver of the web-world.  I'm so happy you're here. 

 

Let me tell you a little about myself.  I'm a forty-something year-old mother of two cherished children - Griffin and Hazel -  a writer, marketer, podcaster, certified yoga instructor/energy healer, and co-curator of a messy and marvelous marriage.  I love fiercely, live imperfectly, laugh hard and cry often.

I write because words are the way I experience the world. I'm awed by their power and do my best to wield them wisely, bringing truth home with kindness.

 

I see shades of gray everywhere in our black and white world and challenge myself to write (and live) from life's contradictory lessons; those with the capacity to unite instead of divide.  This isn't to say I don't believe in justice, equality, freedom, and fighting for what's right -  I do. Love can be righteous, redemptive and rowdy.

I'm grateful to all who've helped me on my life's journey. Your impact is forever carved on my soul.  Writing-wise, I give thanks to high school English teachers who believed in me, a college TA who didn't , good grammar genes, writing coaches along and a group of wonderful world-wide women who write well, love better and are changing each other for good.
